Eigentlich mag den lieben Jay ja jeder an der UConn, er ist nämlich immer persönlich für folgende eMails verantwortlich:

Good morning, this is Jay Hickey from the Department of Human Resources and it is 4:55 am, on Monday, March 2, 2009.

The following information pertains to the STORRS campus. Staff and Students at the regional campuses and Law School should check with their appropriate designees for the status of their campus.

Due to inclement weather, all morning, afternoon and evening classes are cancelled. Classes will resume tomorrow morning, Tuesday, March 3, 2009 as scheduled.

All “Emergency Support Services” are required to report as scheduled.
All “Non-Emergency Support Services” are required to report to work by 12 : 00 noontime.

Will heißen zuviel Schnee und die Uni fällt aus, eigentlich ne gute Sache! Leider hat mich das Wetter mal so garnicht lieb, bisher gab es sieben solcher „inclement weather announcement“s verteilt auf folgende Tage:

• Freitag: 1
• Mittwoch: 4
• Dienstag abends: 1
• Montag: 1

Dem Kenner meines Stundenplans fällt auf dass diese Aufstellung, bis auf den Dienstag Abend mit meiner Lieblingsvorlesung (!!!) , komplett diskunkt mit meinem Stundenplan ist.

Nein Jay, ich mag dich nicht besonders …
