After some days in which Ⅰ neglected all you blog reader, here is at last an exciting post ;-) Today Ⅰ went with UConn Subog to New York for a Broadway Show called „Young Frankenstein“, actually just because it was very cheap ($50 incl. bus trip) and the last time Ⅰ saw a musical was in the 10th grade.
We headed very early (8.30h) to New York and Ⅰ slept the whole bus trip, the night before Ⅰ was invited to a birthday party – a great birthday party (check facebook ;-)). After arriving in NYC we only had time to grab some McD food and then we headed direct to the Hilton Theatre.
The Hilton Theatre is very nice inside, quite cheesy but nice :-) Unfortunatly we were not allowed to take any pictures inside, but only for my blog Ⅰ risked it to be kicked out and took one photo of the theatre ;-) The musical itself was not that bad, as far as I’m able to evaluate a musical. Some funny parts, some bad jokes, some german „Scheiße“, but at all quite entertaining. The only issue was that Ⅰ was still verrryyyy tired, thus Ⅰ had to fight sometimes with myself not to fall asleep.

After this cultural overload for me Ⅰ used the remaining 2 hours to search for a new winter coat, the H&M in the 5th av. made me happy with a very nice coat for $49. :D Actually Ⅰ will really miss the low prices for clothes when I’m back in germany! 38 € for a winter coat is unbeatable in germany! After a last picture in front of the bankrupt Morgan Stanley Building and a short detour to the Rockefeller Center where the famous christmas tree is already present we headed back to Storrs, CT. :-)

Comments on my bad english are welcome — only stk has to shut up! :D
